What’s in the box

Every shed arrives flat-packed with all panels, hardware, and a printed instruction manual from the manufacturer. Smaller parts are bagged and labeled to match the steps in the manual.

Inspect all boxes on delivery before signing. If anything is missing or damaged, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us within 48 hours.

Tools you’ll need

Assembly requires basic hand tools. Most manuals ask for:

• •Cordless drill with Phillips and flat bits
• •Spirit level (at least 24 inches)
• •Tape measure
• •Rubber mallet
• •Step ladder
• •Safety glasses and work gloves

How long it takes

Most small sheds (under 8×6) can be assembled by two people in 3–4 hours. Larger models (10×8 and up) typically take a full day with two people.

Read the entire manual before you start, and sort your hardware into labeled containers — it saves far more time than it costs.

Foundation preparation

Your shed must sit on a level, stable surface. Acceptable foundations include a concrete slab, a wooden floor frame on deck blocks, or compacted gravel topped with paving slabs.

The foundation should be perfectly level — even a 1-inch slope across the base will cause doors to bind and panels to gap. Prepare it before the shed arrives.

Professional installation

If you’d rather not assemble it yourself, a local handyman or contractor can do the job. We don’t offer installation directly, but most installers charge $200–$600 depending on shed size and foundation work.

We recommend getting two quotes and confirming the installer has experience with the shed material (resin, wood, or metal).
