Manufacturer warranties

Every shed and grill on GardenSheddy is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by brand and product — the specific coverage period is listed on each product page.

What’s covered

Warranties typically cover manufacturing defects: cracked panels, faulty hardware, non-functioning igniters, peeling finishes, and similar issues present at the time of delivery or that develop under normal use.

They do not cover damage from improper assembly, normal wear, weather exposure beyond the product’s rating, modifications, or acts of nature.

Warranty duration

Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and product type. Resin sheds often carry 7–15 year warranties; wood sheds 5–10 years; metal sheds 5–15 years. Grills typically range from 1–10 years depending on the component (burners often have longer coverage than the body).

How to file a warranty claim

Contact us with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos showing the defect. We’ll verify the claim with the manufacturer and coordinate a repair, replacement part, or full replacement at no cost to you.

Our role

As an independent retailer, we facilitate warranty claims on your behalf — we’re your first point of contact, and we handle the back-and-forth with the manufacturer so you don’t have to.
